"The Defining Decade"

Hello World!, 

This is my first official post for my blog (ever). I have talked about getting a blog started months ago and just never had the courage to do it….until now. I spent an amazing weekend in Austin TX with one of my besties from high school. On top of that, I met and made some new friends. 

I was inspired to say the least. These girls that I spent a majority of my weekend with are women after their own hearts. They are fearless, gorgeous, independent, and fashionistas to say the least. I wanted to inspire for once instead of being the inspire-e. So here it goes. 

I’m not a professional at writing. I’m not a professional at blogging. I’m 24 years old, Pepperdine Alumni and living at home whiling commuting to work. The economy is tough and I wish I had paid more attention to the job growth (or lack thereof in some fields). That doesn’t mean you give up! I sure as hell haven’t. 

My focus of this job will be a mixture of everything - fitness, fashion, what’s in the news, travelling, cooking, God, dating, being a twentysomething, and career decisions. The focus though will be on the first two. I’m also going to have friends post little inspirations that they too would like to share. 

The biggest thing I hope you guys take away from this is that despite my randomness and somewhat scatter-brain personality, the journey I have been joyful, despite the tears that have been shed.
